"Waking Light Goodbye" is the second album by Justin Almquist under band name Strength and Sanity. Over 5 years of work went into making this album, which is the next evolutionary step for this project. Looking to combine influences from 90's hard rock, metal, and the vibe of 60's jazz, Justin also makes his vocal debut on this album.

Strength and Sanity now also features baritone saxophone, adding weight and texture to the album and going in a different direction than most metal bands.
